Toon Disney ceased broadcast on February 13, 2009 (two months and five days shy of eleven years since it first started broadcasting), and was rebranded as Disney XD. Toon Disney/Jetix ran a preview night starting at 7:00pm on Thursday, February 12, 2009, the day before the network launched, the preview night included more promos about the new. The little kids (those with no sense of nostalgia) no longer cared for the old cartoons and just wanted to see more 'hip' stuff. If I recall, TD relegated all the old cartoons to small segments at bad timeslots while they pushed things like Jetix and Power Rangers in their place. Eventually, Disney killed TD and made Disney XD in its place.
This is a list of television programs broadcast by Jetix around the world, now known as Disney XD.
